First off, Stony Brook Soccer Club would like to share our condolences with any families that have been impacted by the worlds current events and extend our gratitude to our frontline workers. These are truly unprecedented times.
During this time of pause, Stony Brook Soccer Club has been working on many exciting initiatives in anticipation of re-opening our club.
We are excited to announce the following:

Stony Brook SC announces 2020–21 Intramural season registration fee of $20
SBSC merges with Atletico FC for all age groups 2009 – 2002
Stony Brook Soccer Club and Atletico FC have successfully negotiated a merger of the Boys and Girls teams for all age groups 2009 – 2002 to be effectuated Fall 2020.This will allow the club to compete at the highest level possible across every age-group and gender. We piloted this last year with our Girls 2006 & Boys 2004 program, and despite the Spring season getting cut short, we saw stronger commitment, participation and success. We are extremely excited about this merger and look forward to getting back out onto the fields.
SBSC phased approach to resuming activities
Please note, in the early weeks of ‘back to play’, there are clear guidelines we will need to adhere to in terms of player to coach ratio, spacing between groups as well as drop off and pick up procedures to ensure that the children and staff are safe. These guidelines will be sent out to all parents, as well as placed onto our website (Stonybrooksoccer.com). We will also be hosting a webinar prior to re-opening to explain these protocols and team structure for the 2020 – 2021 seasons. Following the guidelines of US Soccer and New York State, Stony Brook Soccer Club may be able to start training our players as soon as July 13, 2020. In anticipation of re-opening, we have opened our registration system for players to enroll for the upcoming 2020-2021 season. It is extremely important that all players enroll in the registration system so that the Club can plan and execute on the ‘back to play’ guidelines.
We will be announcing the dates, times and locations of practices in short order but expect them to start commencing on or about the week of July 13th. Many of these decisions depend on the number of players enrolled in the registration system. So we urge you to enroll as soon as possible to make for a smooth re-opening and so that we can communicate dates, times and locations of practices.

SBSC announces 2020 – 2021 Intramural season registration fee of $20
Stony Brook Soccer Club has decided to reduce its intramural fee to $20 for the 2020 – 2021 season in efforts to give back to the community and provide our children a place to play the game they love. The upcoming season will be different than what we have experienced in the past, so we are asking all players that are interested in playing in the SBSC Intramural program to register as soon as possible so we can start planning the upcoming season while following US Soccer and New York State mandated guidelines. The registration fee of $20 will be available through August 15.
